It is recommended you wait at least 1 to 2 days before walking on new asphalt. Wait 4 to 5 days before parking on the driveway. Depending on the weather, the asphalt may cure more slowly.

Asphalt is virtually maintenance free and cost effective. During the winter, snow and ice melt off quickly while salt can be used without damaging the drive. An asphalt driveway is easily ploughed.
